Applications for assistance are available from DeVry and the responsible provincial governments. Be sure to read the application and all accompanying literature very carefully. Once you apply, you will be considered for all the types of assistance for which you are eligible. You do not have to submit separate applications for each type of assistance. Completing all appropriate sections of the application will help ensure you get all assistance to which you may be entitled as soon as possible.
Most provinces and territories, except Nova Scotia and Manitoba, require that a portion of the application be completed by DeVry's Financial Aid Office. Therefore, all students must send the completed application to DeVry. DeVry will review all applications and then forward them to the appropriate provincial governments.
If you need extra help in completing the application, contact DeVry's Financial Aid Office.
The OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) Application
and Guide book contains an application form and requires
a $10 application fee to process the application. However,
you do not have to pay the fee if you apply using the
online application through the OSAP web site at http://osap.gov.on.ca/eng/eng_osap_main.html
You should apply for assistance immediately. Ensure
every question is answered - blanks will delay assessment of your
application.
If you are not satisfied with the results of your
financial aid application, you may contact DeVry's Student Finance
Office for assistance with your appeal.
The loans and/or bursaries you receive must first
be used to pay tuition at DeVry. If the amount of assistance
you receive is not sufficient to cover your semester tuition,
a payment schedule can be arranged. The longest payment schedule
includes four payments, with each payment due the first week of
every month in the semester. If you are not eligible for student
assistance, or if you choose not to apply, tuition is due in full
the first day of classes. If necessary, a payment schedule with
a maximum of four payments, as described above, may be arranged.
All students are responsible for maintaining their payment schedule,
and delinquencies in payment could result in suspension from school.
