DeVry/Keller Military Service Grant

DeVry supports the commitments of its students to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces through the establishment of a Military Service Grant. This grant is available to all students who are called to active duty during the course of their studies. The following provisions explains the terms and requirements for this grant:

  • The DeVry/Keller Military Service Grant is available to students called to active duty at a time, which necessitates the interruption of studies during a term (quarter, session or semester). The grant is available only to those students who resume their studies following their active duty service.

  • Upon resuming their studies, students must provide written documentation of active duty service.

  • The amount of the grant is equal to the net amount of tuition that is charged for the interrupted term of study less any grant applied to tuition for the resuming term. The grant is to be used during the first term the student resumes.

  • The DeVry/Keller Military Service Grant, when combined with other grants, loans and work assistance for the term, may not exceed financial need. Please see the Student Finance Office for definition of financial need.

  • Additionally, students who are called to active duty while still having a balance due to DeVry are eligible to have their account put in a hold status. This status would suspend all interest accruals and payments during the student's duty. Students seeking this suspension are required to submit copies of their call-up papers to the campus Student Finance office.

DeVry's FAFSA School Code is 010727
